Thank you for purchasing a PURTEX mattress.
Our goal is to develop and manufacture products of the highest quality and comfort. Our mattresses are made of high-quality materials that we select with the utmost care. PURTEX s.r.o. holds ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2005 certification.
PURTEX mattresses are classified according to the materials used as:
1. polyurethane mattresses
2. spring mattresses
or a combination of the two types.
In order to take advantage of our two-year warranty (unless specified otherwise), we recommend that you follow the maintenance and care instructions for PURTEX mattresses. Purtex mattress cores are covered by an extended ten-year warranty, with the exception of the following cores: Triflex, Triflex Plus, Enzo, Bronco, Olivia Viscofoam, Olivia Coolflex, Lucy, Ester, Ester Lux, Alexis Soft, Alexis Medium and Alexis Hard.
PURTEX mattresses have either non-removable or removable covers. When handling a removable cover, take care not to damage the protective cover or core by using an inappropriate method for removing or putting on the cover.
Take care of your mattress according to the symbols sewn in its seam. Avoid exposing your mattress to light, as it makes the mattress cover fade faster. Use only approved products to clean your mattress and make sure you follow the cleaning product manufacturer’s instructions. Vacuum your mattress to remove dust once a month and rotate if necessary.
Make sure you choose the right foundation or bed base for your mattress according to its type.
(Unsuitable foundations: platform foundations with no space for airflow or slatted bed bases with slat spacing greater than 9 cm.)
We recommend using a mattress protector for your mattress to protect its surface from stains and to help prolong its lifetime.
Compressed mattresses must be left at rest with no load for 48 hours after being removed from the packaging.
Do not bend or deform a mattress when in storage.
Do not remove the label with the mattress name and other information sewn onto the cover. These labels serve to identify the mattress core in case of a warranty claim.
The following changes are permitted in mattresses with polyurethane foam:
Loss of height after dynamic loading as per
ČSN EN ISO 3385 – max. 15%
Mattress dimension tolerances as per ČSN EN 1334 are -20 mm in length and width, mattress height tolerance is 10 mm or 10% (whichever is less).
The permissible tolerance of mattress polyurethane core hardness (stress-strain characteristic in compression in kPa) as per ČSN EN ISO 3386-1 is +/- 15%.
As we use polyurethane foams from several suppliers, individual types of foam have different colours. These foams have the same parameters – PURTEX s.r.o. guarantees the type of materials and technical characteristics of the products it offers, with no guarantee of foam colour.
Fabric covers may warp. Changes in cover dimensions resulting from standard mattress use are also not a defect.
A mattress may include a technical joint, which does not affect the functionality and utility qualities of the mattress.
The PURTEX product warranty covers defects resulting from poor workmanship and defects in the materials used to manufacture mattresses. The warranty expressly excludes: wear resulting from standard mattress use; fading of the ticking pattern of the fabric; foam colour; damage caused by mishandling, placing on an inappropriate foundation/bed base, mechanical damage or inappropriate mattress use. The manufacturer is not liable for damage resulting from the consumer’s subsequent modification of the core. The manufacturer is not liable for damage caused during installation, assembly and transportation by the customer.
Warranty claims are handled in compliance with the warranty policy of PURTEX s.r.o.
