H330 - Sewing Strips of Fabric for Mattress Handles
This machine is used for sewing strips of fabric that are subsequently used for making mattress handles. Further processing can be manual or machine. The straps themselves consist of two layers of fabric and one layer of reinforcing material (we used Mirelon 1mm thick). The fabric strips must always be cut wider than the reinforcing material. Ideally +1cm on each side. When sewing, the edges are tucked.
H 222 - Machine for Sewing Mattress Sides
This machine is used to sew the sides of mattresses. The sides consist of three layers: fabric, firmer PUR foam 5mm thick, and fleece. The top (fabric) and bottom (fleece) should be cut wider. Ideally +1cm on each side. When sewing, the edges are tucked.
It uses four sewing heads, two static and two moving. The static ones sew the edges in the direction of the material feed, and the moving ones (moving perpendicular to the direction of feed) "embroider" a pattern according to the set program. The machine can also be covered from the front (for safety during operation). Due to the rotation, the sensors were turned off. Therefore, during operation, it is not possible to access the sewing head area without automatically stopping the machine.
H332 - Completing Mattress Sides
This machine is used to complete the sides (sewing from H222 + strip from H330). The length of the side, the placement of handles, and the placement of air channels can be programmed. The machine automatically cuts the set length. It can also mark where the cover's corner is from below. It is used when sewing sides from one or two pieces.
The air channels may or may not be included. Following the manufacturer's recommendation, we used saddle rings OMO and air channel covers AAP from SCAAT Ita. (www.scaat.it/home-en-US/).
