The next step is choosing the core. Each material has its specific features and benefits for different types of slatted bases and sleepers:

• Foam Mattresses: Modern foams (cold HR foam, PUR foam, revolutionary Hybrid foam) offer high elasticity and shape retention. Frequently Asked Questions about Choosing and Caring for Mattresses

How often should I replace my mattress?
Generally, it is recommended to replace a mattress every 7 to 10 years. However, it depends on the materials used, frequency of use, and care. You can significantly extend the lifetime of a mattress by regularly airing it out, rotating it, and using a washable mattress protector to prevent moisture and dirt from penetrating the core.

Can the mattress be washed or cleaned?
The foam or spring core of the mattress should never be washed. Maintaining hygiene, however, is easy – all our high-quality mattresses come with a removable cover (e.g. Aloe Vera, Tencel, Bamboo). You just need to unzip it, remove it, and wash it in the machine typically at 30 to 60 °C (always follow the care symbols on the cover's label).

Do you manufacture custom-sized mattresses?
Yes! As a traditional Czech mattress manufacturer, we can cater to non-standard requirements. If you have an atypical bed (for example, an extended length of 220 cm), simply select the "custom size" option in the product details and enter the exact width and length you need.

What is the difference between a health mattress and a clinically evaluated mattress?
The term "health mattress" is often used today merely as a marketing label. If you're looking for a truly tested product for healthy sleep and relief from back pain, look for clinically evaluated mattresses. These mattresses have undergone rigorous medical testing, possess a valid certificate, and guarantee the best orthopedic properties. What slatted base should I choose for the new mattress?
The right slatted base extends the lifespan of the mattress and improves its orthopedic properties. Foam mattresses (cold foam, PUR foam) are ideal for flexible slatted bases (both fixed and adjustable). If placed on a solid slatted base, we recommend choosing a thicker core (over 14 cm). On the other hand, spring and pocket mattresses are well suited for solid slatted bases, which provide them with stable support.
