How to measure the bed for a frame slatted base correctly?
Bases are always bought according to the internal dimensions of the bed (e.g. 90x200 cm). The frame slatted base is actually about 1 cm narrower and 4 cm shorter (e.g. 89x196 cm) from production to fit into the bed frame without a hitch and not rub against the side panels.

Can a solid frame slatted base be adjusted?
No, these bases are designed to be flat and unadjustable, which in turn gives them maximum firmness and stability. If you want to raise your head or legs for reading or relaxing in bed, you need to look at our category of adjustable or motorized bases.

Do frame slatted bases creak?
Unlike ordinary roll-up bases, the risk of creaking with solid frame bases is minimal because the slats or battens are securely anchored in the frame.
