Which mattress to choose?

To ensure that slatted bed bases function properly and long-term with the motor, combine them with a flexible mattress (cold foam, memory foam, or latex). Spring and pocket mattresses cannot be bent, so they are not suitable for adjustable bases.

Frequently Asked Questions about Electric Bed Bases

What happens during a power outage?
You needn’t worry. Quality electric bed bases from our offer feature a backup battery (usually 9V), allowing you to safely return the base to a flat horizontal position without power.

Can I place an electric bed base in a bed with storage?
Yes! For these cases, we offer models with a flat motor (known as UTP system). The drive mechanism does not protrude below the frame of the base and does not interfere with storage space.

How powerful is the motor and can it support me while adjusting?
Electric motors can easily lift the declared load capacity of the base (usually 120–130 kg). To maximize the lifespan of the motor, however, we recommend slightly lifting the part of the body being raised during adjustment.
